The main goal of the mission is to establish 100 living laboratories and lighthouses to lead the transition to healthy soils by 2030. As such, the mission addresses a number of the core concerns of the “4 per 1000” initiative related to soil health and sustainable land management.
We therefore strongly encourage you to review the “4 per 1000” Strategic Plan and use it as a supporting document in the application process. It provides an overview of the compilation of the most pressing issues related to conversion to healthy and carbon-rich soils, as identified through the consultation process by 128 experts from the global network of the European Union. Use it as a source of inspiration.
The deadline for submission is the 24th of March 2022, 17h (CET).
