The main goal of the mission is to establish 100 living laboratories and lighthouses to lead the transition to healthy soils by 2030. As such, the mission addresses a number of the core concerns of the « 4 per 1000 » initiative related to soil health and sustainable land management.
We therefore strongly encourage you to review the « 4 per 1000 » Strategic Plan and use it as a supporting document in the application process. It provides an overview of the compilation of the most pressing issues related to conversion to healthy and carbon-rich soils, as identified through the consultation process by 128 experts from the global network of the European Union. Use it as a source of inspiration.
