The international “4 per 1000” Initiative is an official supporting partner of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021-2030.
Why this involvement?
We all depend on healthy ecosystems for food and energy security, water supply and biodiversity.
Their continued degradation contributes to climate change and increases the risk of ecological collapse.
Widespread loss of functioning ecosystems would be catastrophic for our planet and a huge setback for all progress already made in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
It is time to rebuild what has been lost.
