The first ten years of the international “4 per 1000” Initiative

To mark the 10th anniversary of the international “4 per 1000” Initiative, the Executive Secretariat team has prepared a document that is a first draft of the Initiative’s dashboard (objective F3 of the Strategic Plan 2050).

This document taking stock of the evolution of the “4 per 1000” Initiative since its launch in 2015 at COP21 in Paris (France), its network, the progress made in implementing the 2050 Strategic Plan, and the development of agroecology in the major regions of the world.

This document – initially in English and shortly in French and Spanish – was first published at the ‘SoilCarbon4Climate’ Conference in Berlin on September 11, during a speech by Stéphane Le Foll, President of the international “4 per 1000” Initiative.
