Public conferences: “Exchanges between the Mediterranean rims: working together to meet the challenges of Mediterranean agriculture and food” – Morocco, France and Egypt

In 2024, the FARM Foundation and its partners* launched the AACC-Med project (Adapting Agriculture to Climate Change in the Mediterranean), a tool for dialogue and cooperation between Mediterranean agricultural stakeholders to share solutions and jointly formulate recommendations on adaptation.

The international “4 per 1000” Initiative is a founding partner of the AACC-Med Project (MoU signed on October 14, 2022 with the FARM Foundation). The Initiative also signed on October 10, 2024, a MoU for this AACC-Med project.

Three highlights will be held successively in Morocco, France and Egypt: inter-rives exchanges organised in collaboration with our local partners (Fert, Fert Maroc, AMAC, ENAM, INRAE, Agribiovar, NGO EASD, etc.). Come and take part in the conferences open to the public – farm visit reports, farmer testimonies and round tables – and contribute to the discussions!

Thursday 9 October from 9 AM to 2 PM at the École Nationale d’Agriculture of Meknès (ENAM), Morocco
Thursday 6 November from 2PM to 7 PM at the Institut Agronomique Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Montpellier (IAMM), France
Thursday 20 November from 9 AM to 2 PM at the ‘Jolie Ville Hotel Kings Island’ at Louxor, Egypt

By taking part in these discussions, you are contributing your voice and experience to a collective effort to develop sustainable solutions to climate change and strengthen the resilience of Mediterranean agriculture.

Information and registration here. More information about the project here.
