7th Day of the international “4 per 1000” Initiative

The 7th Day of the international “4 per 1000” Initiative was held on December 6, 2023 in Dubai on the sidelines of COP28, in a hybrid version (face to face and online).

This event was divided into 2 parts, the Forum of Partners and the Consortium of Members

@ The Forum of Partners

The Forum of Partners was opened by a High Level Segment moderated by Ms. Gabrielle Bastien, Vice-President of the international “4 per 1000” Initiative, Founder of Regeneration Canada.

Its theme was “Let’s put Soil health higher ont the international Agenda and Act together now!”.

Numerous personalities representing “4 per 1000” partner structures (countries or regions, international organizations, agricultural producers’ organizations, NGOs, research centers, companies, etc.) presented their point of view as well as the actions they are and will be deploying in this regard.

At the end of the morning, the annual activity report of the international “4 per 1000” Initiative was presented by Paul Luu, Executive Secretary.

@ The Consortium of Members

In the afternoon, the Consortium of Members held its meeting, for the presentation and adoption of the roadmap and the 2024 budget. All presentations and documents relating to the 7th Day of the international “4 per 1000” Initiative are available by clicking here.
