The French scientific community launches the “Appel de Sète”

On the eve of the COP24, that will take place in Poland from December 3rd to 14th, a workshop mobilized the French scientific community on 7 and 8 November to meet the challenges of the “4 for 1000” initiative. Since COP21, the French scientific community is strongly mobilized around this initiative on soils for food security and climate. On the occasion of this workshop, the scientific community has launched a call to fund an ambitious scientific program: the “Appel de Sète”, which has already collected some fifty signatures, among them researchers from CIRAD, CNRS, IDDRI, INRA, IRD, IRSTEA, and also partners from Brazil, Spain, Madagascar, Senegal and Morocco.
