2018: East Africa soil carbon workshop Science to Inform Policy – 17-18 April, 2018, Nairobi

On 17 and 18 April 2018, a group of experts from Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda as well as from international institutions working in East Africa including CIAT, ICRAF, CIMMYT, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Wageningen University and CIFOR came together in Nairobi for a regional workshop on Soil Carbon with the subtitle “Science to Inform Policy”. The 4 per 1000 initiative was presented and acknowledged for its global impact.
